With all the rain we have had this month combined with spring fertilizer applications, Fescue lawns are growing at a pace difficult to keep up with mowing. Even if mowing needs to be scheduled in between rain showers, it is essential at this time of year to have it done every week. Now that the weather is warming up, it is also beneficial to start raising the height of cut for summer. At this time of the year we recommend mowing at a height of 4″-4.25″ and raising it to 4.5″ by the end of June. Fescue turf is as healthy as it will be all year and proper mowing will help it to really stand out.  If you need help mowing your lawn, let us customize a plan right for you.  Contact us today.
