Brown patch is a fungus that commonly affects Fescue lawns in the summer time. It thrives in warm, wet weather similar to what we are having right now. It will start out as small circular patches that have a brownish orange appearance and if left untreated will continue to spread. The good news is that Brown Patch can be treated curatively and also preventatively, which is what we recommend.
